I found the hypnosis very useful in making me feel calmer between contractions, to the point I even seamed to sleep for a few minutes between each one. When the hard work really started I found that the hypnosis allowed me to concentrate 100% on putting the pain and effort to good use, instead of panicking about how much it hurt.

Only Doesn't score 10 because his level of activity stops him being placid - he is SO active and therefore quite demanding, but very happy with it.

The Hypnosis, apart from anything else, made me feel I was well prepared for labour. This meant that, although I went from nothing to 5cm in the space of a very short time (I was induced), I didn't feel the pain run away with me, and I felt in control at all times.

Husband said he felt hypnosis helped before the birth by making me feel more confident about my ability to cope & during the birth he feels it made me calmer & more in control. He commented that I seemed to be 'in the zone' during labour.
